@@deathmetal0914 Thanks for your reply mate, but the plot keeps thickening as those gentlemen are using MKII Swollens for which inside pots are all the way to the way to the left by default. I mean, can’t you guys ask for more audio demos by the musicians?? Most of us are here for this
@klekrfaqer21142 жыл бұрын
Well, of course I cannot know how @Premierguitarofficial set these scenes up, but I find it rather unlikely that the sound of any analogue gear you hear in these videos is representative due to 1) the cam/room mic's quality, 2) the cam/room mic's placement within the room (with the safe assumption that there's in fact some room mic in use and not only the microports pick up the cabs' sound), 3) since most backlines anyhow go through the usual mic-preamp-FOH desk-PA chain, and I assume the PA is not on while filming these. With fully digital stuff I tend to agree that having some samples recorded directly could be interesting, but then it would be probably difficult to bribe the tech team for a rec out. If most of you are here for _some idea_ of the sound, that's fair, but IMHO you shouldn't be here for a realistic audio demo by the musicians.

@FlyingMachete Жыл бұрын
That's exactly how I see it too, only that it goes back to the zuul+ after the fuzz and then to the time-based effects (delay/reverb) in order for those not to be squashed by the gate. Another option with the zuul+ is they could go straight to the front of the amp after fuzz/od/Octave and then have the effects loop send in the rear input of the zuul then out to the delay/reverb and to the return of effects loop this way killing both noise sources with only one gate which the zuul+ is essentially made for.
