Make a runner game ready character using Adobe Fuse, Mixamo's online Rigging and Maya. Customize the way your character looks in adobe fuse then rig it using mixamo's website Autorig and then take it back to Maya to give it controls using Mixamo auto control rig script and animate it according to the way you like.

Hello. Will there be a guide how to do facial expression in maya with fuse character? I really need that 😂

Hi, thanks for your suggestion. Animation tutorials are already in the planning, as for your suggestion to use it on Fuse character, Though it is same process unless the rig has anatomical differences. After your comment - We will now prefer using the fuse rig as it is easily available for public uses. *So thanks for your comment* - Now then, until we create the Facial expression tutorial for you all, here's a little tip that might help you a bit. (will also be posting this on channel discussion page to help others if they need in future) When trying to create facial expression focus on bigger changes 1st. Cover the vowels (A,E,I,O,U) & P,F If you are using an audio that has fast pace DO NOT go through animating lips linearly. Try to cover one word of each sentence or one alphabet of each word. then add details and use more of those. For Example (try saying 'well i am' slowly - now say 'well i am' fast too fast - now say 'WHAM' - if you ignore the change you FEEL due to tongue & focus on lips, it will look the same. so add that detailed 'WHAM' to your animation not just a fast 'well i am') Another thing - there's major change to facial animation of same dialogue if it's being said in different mood. Think you are Happily surprised & say "WHAT" - if you imagine your eyes as the center you will notice your face expands outwards while saying 'WHAT' - your eyebrows go up, your cheeks stretch down with your chin, your jaw opens wide & even your ears stretch a bit - Now think you are mad/really angry & say "WHAT" - now from eyes as the center - your eyebrows crunch down stretching your forehead down, your cheeks - your nostrils & your upper lip goes up even your jaw opens less. sorry if i wasn't helpful trying to explain here, Animation as a whole is Part-Technical & Part-Creative, knowledge of anatomy also helps quite a lot. [ That's just how i feel & they are my personal views, Animation has many ways & it Shapes according to the artist who makes it.] I hope it was bit helpful. take care :)

@@CGFamilyStudio Yea. Thank you for your answer. I'm looking forward to the next tutorial about animation. I was really desperate because I wanted to animate my character (mainly face for dialogues) and use it in Unreal Engine for my game. And your "Part 2" of this tutorial is very helpful. Thank you for it. I didn't know, that something like Mixamo Auto Rig Controler exists, that's new for me.

How did you manage to make Fuse send your character to mixamo? I only have the "animate" option. Please help, as I can't get facials without it!

Hi, You should have the button on the top right side in Adobe Fuse. If you have something different then try to update your version. if you still have issues feel free to reply here. P.S - If you have latest version, It might be possible that adobe changed the button to animate and it does the same thing... (just a guess)

Hello why I was not able to find the facial blendshape option in maximo website . I only find tha standard bone option and I am not able to create faical rig through this maximo website in maya please can you guide me where found the facial blendshape option in maximo website

Hi, if you created the model in fuse and took it directly to Mixamo. You will get the facial blendshapes and controls after using the script mentioned in 2nd part of the video.

hello and thanks for this tutorial. when I upload my character to mixamo it doesn't give that option of enabling/disable facial rig. please help

Hi, You get this option when you take your model directly form Fuse to Mixamo's website. In the video you can follow from 6:10 to 7:35
