very nice! that script you've done for the tentacle, has something to do with creating keys and moving in the timeline? i'm doing somehting like this for a tail..

One question.. on the part with chicken... do you attach those control to the head bone? or they are always at the same place?

Men deberías hacer un tutorial esta muy interesante el rigg, quisiera aprender lo de tentáculos y la cara, uno pequeño para que los todos veamos mas o menos por donde es la cuestión de hacer una limitación dentro de un cuadro o circulo o cualquier objeto y así hacer el movimiento.

if your a complete noob, find a auto rigging program, this rigging thing is just Frustration waiting to happen....
