Jess, great content my friend, but you have GOT to get a new audio system. In some vids the audio is okay, but others have low volume (like this one) or audio cuts in & out, has static, etc. I noticed audio problems in your vids going back a long time. I don’t have those problems with other videos or the commercials, so it’s not my speakers or headphones. That said, thanks for this lesson.

Brilliant video I’m taking good heed of this one , I actually forgot about this , second time watching I’m going to do this whip type drill . That in to out situation . I just got to get my weight forward also and steady head . . Great fundamentals in this one I need to do . I need to remember that L . That swing thought is one of most powerful Iv ever come across . Whipping coming underneath that might be a more explosive thought than the hammer 🔨 which I could d to be a interesting one as well both items require the L for efficiency of spied flow and control . The way you hit the ball I do detect a slight rocking right to left , but if you think to much right front foot you might lose momentum I just see a Tom Suguto video 55 percent all the weight on the front foot and just bring the club behind you but below the shoulder Two fascinating videos I’m carrying to swing thoughts videos Many thanks Jess great content and philosophy, If I could get all this right I could be a champion golfer this time next year lol 😀 Feeling real positive about this one 😃✊

Best explanation I have heard to date. It is eye opening that the elbow is ahead of the wrist as you reach left arm parallel. I have never concentrated that on the right arm. I can't wait for the magic and load the power lever.

Thank you Jess Frank great video , this right arm and body mechanics seems so key in a lot of areas of getting a good swing done . Played well on Friday on the thought of straight arms and pushing my right hip (back pocket ) back and on a tilt and turning the body back and through to P8 near the finish with straight right arm both arms and also just playing from as you would put it playing from 8 to 3 o’clock . Also a steady head I also wasn’t putting that much weight on the left side , because a lot of the mechanics were correct I felt I didn’t need to but I know with more needed distance I can use that knee down with a exaggerated weight in left but did have a good amount enough to get the swing completed , more thinking on the straight arm follow through with the follow through which naturally pushes the left hip forward to target but that only works if you turn the body on the down swing a d through swing Played on Monday was pathetic , something about Monday’s I never play well but does seem to point to how much I need to improve . I like this training drill with the upside down club whipped through that seems very natural mechanics of the body I like that . I need to do this whole video with a mirror in front of me . This right arm sorts out the swing path also , I’m Always hitting a fade or more slice , but the fade on Friday was fairly straight and good but know way off hitting a correct baby draw the holy grail of golf . This right arm drill and knowledge of the right arm mechanics is a bit of lag fix I think 🤔 situation takes care of that . To think about lag is a bit of a mind block for some reason , to naturally do it is better like a more natural way like the way you whipped the club through with that whip on through drill you done their . Without getting this right this right arm correct motion , playing golf past 8 and 3 o’clock is impossible. But 8 and 3 o’clock won’t get me 160 yards plus with my favourite club the 8 iron but will get you to 140 so a more secure way of going about your golf game with solid contract which is very important . When I’m In trouble it’s a great thing to revert go back to that 8 to 3 o’clock game . Much appreciated for the great teaching and knowledge you show us all thank you 🙏

You are quite correct to say one should not hold the club in the palm of the right hand but in the fingers for the typical shot. But holding the club in the right palm has its advantages for specialty shots such as chipping or pitching when you want to use the bounce or sole of the club. Providing one does not twist the right hand into impact, holding the club in the right palm is a great way to ensure utilization of the bounce especially for green side bunker play.

The power in the striking of the ball is generated by the right arm beginning to straighten. The right wrist can’t generate power by attempting to un cock. Just as the calf muscle can’t generate power by attempting to push off the ground at the end of a striding leg behind the body at the moment the foot leaves the ground. The quad generates power when jogging just as the right arm generates power as the ball is struck.

Hi Jess, very simple , yet useful videos! I have no power on my left wrist. ( a right hander) Thus I rely on my right wrist to control the club and add power....but that causes my club hitting the turf first, the ball next....causing poor contact? Help?

When you internally rotate the right elbow it opens the club face, but I noticed that you turned your wrist counter clockwise to square the club face. Is this counter clockwise wrist motion the same thing as the motor cycle move that I have heard other instructors talk about?

How does stack and tilt teach pressure shift? I noticed a pressure board this video, but with weight always forward how do use the pressure board to teach stack and tilt?
@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton
@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton 3 жыл бұрын
The pressure shifts because the knees change flex in the backswing and the lower center moves forward on the downswing!

@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton
@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton 3 жыл бұрын
Just becareful you don’t start coming over the top or steep in your down swing. Not exactly sure unless I saw your golf swing but my guess is you are using your shoulders and body too much and not enough arms from the inside :)

Why is it that teachers always talk about the right arm in minute details, but nobody ever does the same about the left arm? Or the exact movements of each shoulder? I find that my left arm and left shoulder are getting stuck, most probably leading to my problems of chicken wing, outside in and weak strikes, even on the better hits.
