Looking back, I think this game had some of the best artistic direction for its time. Blaze's introduction to the Sonic series provided a strong contrast to Sonic as a character, but she was still compelling in her own right. I actually think the "play as your rival" aspect was done better here than in Adventure 2, but that's just me. I think it's because I find Blaze a little more interesting than Shadow, and I sympathized more with her.

Stalaktik - Graphic Designer But Sonic Rush doesn't have a prequel that was re-released on newer hardware but didn't get its own and has a very big outcry for its new ports. None of the handheld Sonic games have received ports or official emulations on new hardware except for the Game Gear games (as I'm aware). Plus, a lot of people have played Rush, but its sequel Rush Adventure is more underrated (I played RA first and then Rush, LOL).
