I respectfully disagree, OWN "Right-Wing" and "Alt" Right and make it mean common sense and correct. The far left use "xxx right xxx" as an insult. Turn it into a compliment and their stuffed. We did that with "WOKE" it originally started out to mean you were Right Up There with Democrat/BLM/LGBT/Gender/Climate Change etc.idealogy. We Flipped that and now WOKE generally means a narrowminded ideologically biased person who refuses to accept the Truth.

Would that the electorate in Western countries overall, be able to awaken and smell the coffee. Word of caution though. Among other things, there are legacy media organisations, with support from affiliated, or otherwise friendly press outlets (circulation heading south - some more so than others), with operatives getting triggered by even the slightest shift to the (sic)Far Right.

This whole clip, which is about the sudden resurgence, in several countries, of strongly free market economics, and how this is coming after years of leftist-dominated government has run these countries into the ground, recalls to my mind a speech Milton Friedman gave some years after the fall of the Soviet bloc. Friedman noted that “After the fall of communism, everybody in the world agreed that socialism was a failure. Everybody in the world, more or less, agreed that capitalism was a success. And every capitalist country in the world apparently deduced from that what the West needed was more socialism.” Well, they just _had_ to run the socialist experiment yet again, and learn the hard way that it really doesn't ever work. Now people like Milei in Argentina, Trump in the U.S., and Meloni in Italy are coming along to clean up the mess.
@justiceiria869Күн бұрын
From what i can understand, capitalism is the middle ground of running a economy. Just enough freedom to where people can flourish if they play their cards right but just enough control to where people can take advantage of each other. Socialism happens when a small group of people think they have the right to control everyone's lives in order to make themselves very rich and everyone else very poor. The insane part about this is that they could still be just as if not even more rich if they actually used their wealth and influence to benefit people and be rewarded in the long term. But these are people driven by their envy so naturally all their actions will bring everyone else down to their level of misery.

People, including economists and financial analysts, underestimate the effect that fewer regulations and fewer bureaucrats can have on economic productivity, and productivity is the driver of increases in quality of life. With fewer bureaucrats to slow things down investment projects can be completed quicker, requiring less finance costs while enhancing the labor productivity of those working on the project. Many small things like this add up over time.
