It’s ironic that the same people who claim childless people are unhappy are the same ones who push policies that make raising a child a nightmare.

They want everyone to have kids, even if that means having them be born into broken homes and horrible economic conditions, so that they can go on to blame broken homes and poor economic conditions for the mental health issues and violence and then criminalize everything to fill their jails and prisons. These people literally want people born into the same environments that THEY claim breed criminals, only to turn around and punish them with zero empathy. These people are sadists.

Why do people feel it's a woman's duty to have children, children aren't for everyone, it has been proven!! Every woman was not ment to be a mother, look at all the homeless and battered children and unadopted children in the jacked up system, these children were not a product of a mother who needed children, some are forced by husbands or boyfriends, women should have their own choice 🤔yay or nay, can't let inculcate men or women dictate for others what do they know. @@grandmadonnabug5310 because life is still life. Denying its existence is infinitely worse than a harsh childhood. He’s not even correct about doing whatever you want when your kids are older. My grandma had to help my mom raise me and my siblings instead of choosing to live as she wanted. He forgets that it can also be stressful to have adult kids. Many nowadays can’t afford to move out which ends up falling on you to help support them. Even if they move out and have their own families, there can be issues with marriage and if they get divorced it will be added stress to you because their issues are yours too. They could end up having financial problems later on and needing your help. They might need you to look after their own kids making you re live the experience. My bosses wife is constantly babysitting her 7 grandchildren so her kids can work. I would much rather not deal with all that and just travel whenever because truth is having kids is a stress for life. They could end up disabled. They could die and leave you depressed. I could go on. So so many reasons why I don’t want them.

I have 1 child, had she not gotten here when she did, I couldn't say that. I am in the LGBTQ community proudly, after 7 years of marriage I decided to live my life happy, living how I was feeling. 62 years later At (69), I'm happy and have a loving relationship with my daughter and my partner of 13 years, and my Grandson's and it was how I raised her, that makes her want to be there for me when I can no longer take care of myself, along with my partner who is 9 years younger than I. Not only were they thriving physically but they had SO many special people whose lives they'd contributed to over the years and these people regularly came to see them, whereas a lot of the people with children were never visited except on Christmas. The left-wing aversion to having kids goes to a basic question about leftists: how much of their professed desire to share their resources is authentic? If given the chance, how much of their OWN time, energy and resources would they ACTUALLY devote to the needy? Or devote to anyone but themselves, really? There is no better test than having kids to discover how much you ACTUALLY would do to help others when the chips are down. Attending 10 hours of protests or activist events per year is NOTHING compared to the tens of thousands of hours attending to a child. Given their rhetoric, you'd think leftists would jump at the chance to have OR ADOPT kids since they claim to be the apex of caring and un-selfishness.

@@bluecoffee8414 Great strawman, lol. In any case, people who lean left don't have an aversion to having children, they have a respect per people who don't want them, as well as for people who do.

Not strawmanning. And obviously many leftists have kids. But there IS a marked tendency on the left to describe kids as an unwanted burden for them. And they often describe this reluctance in terms of how they want to have their own money and complaining about all the time and effort it takes to raise kids. And it raises a question: How much of the average leftist's self-professed generosity and eagerness to share resources is real when the rubber-meets-the-road? A lot of leftist generosity is more theoretical. "Boy if I was a CEO I would give 60% of my money away" type of thing.

@@bluecoffee8414 That's all in your head. There are many studies, if you'd like to look it up, they are publicly available, that show that left leaning people tend to be more generous and give more to charity, and by that I don't mean donating to churches though.

@@bluecoffee8414 My "generosity and eagerness to share resources" was decided before I even knew if I was left or right. My generosity was to not put more humans on this earth and let others share in those resources that I would be freeing up by not having children, and them now not having children, and so on and so on...

I love this segment, Ana you did such a great job. I’ve got two kids but totally respect those who don’t ever want any. It’s actually the responsible thing to do since the world and environment will be so damaged in the future that our kids will be in a world of hurt. And yes, they cost an arm and a leg and cause you like constant worries. And having kids doesn’t guarantee you’ll be alone in old age either!

The people complaining about a woman living her life either are envious that they themselves couldn’t figure it out earlier, that parenthood was never an obligation or are upset that women can no longer be controlled like in their dark ages. Let them seethe and be miserable lmfao
