This is why reactions such as this are so good. Despite being a jazz and soul fan since my teens, I hadn't realised how soulful the Righteous Brothers were. I think the main reason is that back in the 1980s you'd only ever hear You've Lost That Loving Feeling and Unchained Melody, and I always associated them with boring childhood Sunday afternoons listening to BBC Radio One. But now, thanks to reaction videos I know Nighttime is the Right Time, Soul and Inspiration, Ebb tide, Just Once in My Life and so on. So thank you KZbinrs.

Just the way we grew up! My mother spent a lot of my early years teaching me how women should be respected. And I didn't mess with mom! No way! So this song just speaks of that training.
