THE LATE GREAT BOBBY HATFIELD NEVER LETS US DOWN WITH HIS COUNTER TENOR VOCALS!

OMG, you're playing my favorite guys from 1964. I was in high school when they came out. We fell in love with the brothers. Their voices were incredible. They sang live and no auto tunes, just pure raw talent. I have all of their vinyl record albums in my collection. ❤

Bill Medley Baritone voice and Bobby Hatfield Counter Tenor voice "The Righteous Brothers" are a match made in Heaven. This was performed live in 1965 on the "Ed Sullivan Show." This song "You'll Never Walk Alone" was first sung in a (1945) Broadway Musical title "Carousel." In (1956) the movie by the same name "Carousel" the song was sung in the movie by actor/singer Gordon Macrae. In 1964 the British Rock Group "Gerry and The Pacemakers" made it a huge hit...The rest as they say is history.

Chuck Wills singing "what Am I Living For " it is a great song, the women back then loved this song. I know I sang it to my Dolores and we were only 7 and 8 years old.

You should check out a very underrated band the Association where they all sing doing 6 part harmonies with songs such as Never My Love, Cherish, Windy, Requiem For The Masses...Just to name a few 66-68

Please react to Journey's Open Arms. Definitely shows Steve Perry's vocal range. One of the best singer's I've heard in all my years. I like almost every type of music being raised around it most of life. You'll Never Walk Alone is a difficult song to sing.

Please react to Journey's Don't Stop Believin' (LIve). Steve Perry has one of the best voices of all time. Just effortless.

Your seem to love harmony... If so, you can't go wrong with anything from the group "Home Free". They have dozens of videos and are completely acapella, yet you'd never realize it.. And get ready for the subscribers.. Home Free has a very loyal fan base.

Elvis did the definitive version of this song... far better than this version... don’t know of any live versions on KZbin, but the studio version from 1968 is, along with several takes...Gerry and the Pacemakers did a version in 1963 that has been adopted by UK footballers ...the original is by Rodgers and Hammerstein , 1945, from their musical Carousel Elvis was a religious singer and this is I think this is his most compelling song... the one on KZbin with the large tree in the mist is a great video. Elvis version is best because it’s hearfelt and as a high baritone , he has the range to give the song the punch it lacks here.

Jay, YNWA was recorded by Elvis on September 11, 1967.
@jayedwards12055 жыл бұрын
Get a life, Tim... it was released as a single in 1968... unbelievably neurotic , petty comment
@timcarr64015 жыл бұрын
Jay, you said "the studio version from 1968." I merely corrected your misinformation. You only missed it by a year. Don't get upset. You were close.
