A Tiwal boat that is left drifting will turn turtle quickly if it is not righted straight away. But that means that it won't drift faster than the sailor in the water. This is a guarantee of safety. This is the reason why we do not equip our boats with a masthead float. A boat with a masthead float does not completely invert: the masthead remains at the surface, and the boat remains at 90 degrees. This creates a lot of windage, meaning increased risk of it drifting quickly out of reach.

@@tiwal I posted a video yesterday of me capsizing and getting back on on my channel. I got back on over the transom. It worked 🤷‍♀️😉

@@dennox1 It does work indeed, it is just harder to keep the boat pointing toward the wind when getting back on the deck from the transom
