As a Crew Member of the last couple years for Bill Maverick Golden was I learned a lot of things about his Car's and Truck's, One there is no glass or windshield frame, Center Post And vent windows in the Little Red Wagon's, The Original 1966 IMC instruction sheet has to remove the center windshield post and vent windows, Also the headlight covers Go On by themselves not with the Headlight Bezels, The moon tank was either mounted on the right side next to the engine or under the bed next to the engine mounted to the frame rail with a hole in the floor to get to the flip cap to fill it it, Also it needs to have a brake pedal scratch built, because there's not one supplied, The truck didn't run any glass, Because of heavyweight, The centers of the wheels should be painted Gold, These were Mickey Thompson Mag Wheels, The battery box sat behind the rear wheel tub, It has to be notched out to sit parallel with the bedside on the driver's side, The stock steering wheel should not be used, The steering wheel from the Deora kit would work perfect after you cut the stem off to fit it to the steering column, There are no gauges on the dashboard at all, it's completely flush, Filled into two openings with scrap plastic and filler, There was a tach on the the dashboard, The Original is much too large, Look for a smaller one would be correct, The Hemi engine was painted Gold and the Headers were painted Silver, This parachute works fine for the First Truck and should have a cable running up the floor running through the bed wall of the inside of the cab wall and hanging in front of him on the roll bar with a loop, Later parachutes were Smaller, There should be a shroud line off the parachute mounted to a block of steel or a little chunk of square rectangle plastic about 2 sq ft up from in the middle of the bed, basically an inch, The transmission should be painted Silver, The rear slicks were actually smaller lettered Goodyear's, The front axle should be chrome with oval holes drilled in center, the rear axle Center is way too, it should be larger you should find something in your parts box and tie it to the axle tubes, All these photos can be found on Google search under images for Bill Maverick Golden's 1965 Little Red Wagon, Bill Maverick Golden created the Wheelstanding Exhibition Racing and and coined the phrase "WHEELIE" , The Original truck was built by two R&D guys at Chrysler/ Dodges Racing Division installed the brand new Hemi in the brand new forward Cab Dodge A-100 Pickup Truck, Jay Howell actually drove it first in 1964, Once it stood up, Jay wanted No Part in Driving That Wild Truck, Frank Wiley of the Racing Division of Dodge called Super Stock Racer Bill Maverick Golden to take the Wagon and try to do something with it, Chrysler/Dodge Racing Division sold it to Maverick for $1.00, In 1965 2 months later Ray Brock and George Hurst drew a sketch of a 1965 Plymouth Barracuda on a napkin, With the idea of putting a Hemi in the back behind the driver, And they had Wild Bill Shrewsberry Drive it for the 1965 season, He bailed out in 1966 and built the L.A. Dart Wheelstander and many more after, and then the 1930 Ford Panel Knott's Berry Wagon, Maverick went through 4 Little Red Wagon's and built one for Don Garlits Museum, And later sold both of them for $800, 000.00. The Rest Is History...

I have the Lindberg 1/25 th scale plastic model kit I bought more than 20 years ago unopened still in original plastic wrap. Never got around to even start it. Also forgot to mention, I seen them both, the Wagon and Hemi under at New England Dragway about 40 yrs or so ago.

Looks like you did a really nice build on it, The only thing is the truck never ran glass after Bill Maverick Golden got it, the Center Post in a windshield is actually a strip of rubber between the two windows and the two vent on this should be removed also, the battery box goes on the driver side behind the rear wheel tub the moon tank should be mounted on the right side next to the Hemi or underneath the frame with a smaller Moon tank, I know this because I crewed for Bill Maverick Golden from 1988 to 2002 his retirement and worked on truck number four that that was sold twice for half a million dollars, In 1970 the Little Red Wagon was replaced with IMC's Touch Tone Terror Wheelie Telephone Truck another version of the Dodge A-100 pickup, And Lindberg found a molds 1994 and brought the model kit of the LITTLE RED WAGON back out with a couple different box arts, THANK YOU FOR THE NICE VIDEO.

Have the original 1966 IMC No. 107-200 right in front of me. Box in protective foil yet. I'm collecting old model kits (mostly 1/24 and 1/25, Showcars, Hot Rods, Dragster, LSR-Cars and everything crazy) from the decades but do not build them up. I bought it about 2000, 2001 or so for 77,- DM (German Mark) as an old kit... ...and at the moment i realize what a treasure i have. How many of the original IMC are available yet (unbuild)? But whatever - i love this wild thing!

What I did for mine was Install the hinges to the doors and then attacked it to the pins. After that I put the doors in place with masking tape and cemented the hinge pis to the inside of the model. I had to do some cutting, trimming and pleading to get it to fit right. But it worked. :)

IMC kits were targeted towards the highly advanced builders. Steerable front Suspensions and Functional Doors were part of those Build Challenges Circa 74 monogram sued them over parts found. Airplane kits. Hence after that Lindberg, Testors and others bought the old tools n reissued them
