Bought a new one and this Saved mine the relay was upside down and almost cooked my motor

Thank you, I bought a used one and it sounds like the motor is locking up. Maybe the relay, hope it’s an easy fix.

@@dustydad9030 yes, the fix is in the little start up Solenoid near the bottom inside. The contacts were arcing and needed to be cleaned and polished. It works with power and gravity to activate. DO NOT turn it on if it is not upright and level. Take the bottom of the case off and you will find the small solenoid in not far from the switch. Take a photo of it in place so you can reference it to put it back properly. Remove the solenoid and disassemble it. You should see the contacts are arced, if it’s the same issue. I used a brass bolt I cut off and dished it to create a small divot in the center. Chucked it up in a drill to polish the contacts after I used some 2000 grit sandpaper to get rid of the arc makes.

@@dustydad9030 I hope I explained it well enough? I first thought it was an issue with the oscillation parts, it wasn’t. Oh and if you happen to turn it on when is upside down, you’ll smoke the motor.
