Rigoletto Act 1, Prelude and Introduction

I first heard this opening act when I was 9 years old. My father brought the 3 LP set home from the Central Library. The entire opera fascinated me from the very start. I loved Caro Nome and sang it without words as I didn't know how to pronounce Italian. Later taking voice as an adult I'm sure I studied it. This is a meaningful opera for me because it was my introduction to Verdi.

I've BEEN A "LOVER" OF VERDI ALL MY LIFE, (first time I ever heard his MUSIC i WAS ABOUT 5 YEARS OLD, in my native Italy). THAT ENCOUNTER WAS PRECISELY, RIGOLETTO which I still consider the greatest of ALL OPERAS, and DEFEND VERDI AGAINST ALL OTHERS, NO MATTER WHO. You are as beautiful as you are talented. Thank you. Actually I have never heard Nika Lagvilava as Rigoletto. His father Revaz Lagvilava was great Rigoletto, I was lucky listening to him, but he doesn't sing any more.
