Grazie a Dio non sono una melomane che storce sempre il naso. Sono un'amante dell'opera una semplice ed umile fan di Giuseppe Vetdi. A me questa versione di Rigoletto è piaciuta infinitamente l"ascolterò ancora tante volte e ringrazio di cuore chi ha messo il video. Grazie

Fue mi primera opera. Tenía 16 años. Fue en el Teatro Argentino de La Plata. Tengo 80 y aún me emociona oirla. Rigoletto es una de las mejores óperas de Verdi. Sólo la misa de requiem la supera.

Quizá no pueda expresar la envidia sana que siento al leerte. Renata Scotto fue una de mis cantantes favoritas. Y Cornell McNeil creo que es a mi juicio uno de los mejores intérpretes. No solo por Rigoletto sino también por su aún mejor caracterización de Scarpia.

One of the best versions of Rigoletto have ever made, when Domingo was at his peak time as a tenor. At 1:07:48, there should be a High C, but Domingo omitted it. In Pavarotti's version, this High C was performed. Hopefully, the DVD producer will not complain about the possible copyright violation. God bless!

Actually it would have been a high D. But I’m not sure that’s what Verdi wrote.

@@charlescoleman5509 It seemed that Verdi wrote it as an option for singer. I watched more than 30 versions of Rigoletto, and only 4 or 5 tenors really sing it. Pavarotti is one of them.
