I've tried many reeds too, Marca, Steuers, D'Addarios, but I returned to V12s as I think I get the most stability and consistency. Haven't tried Rigotti, but they seem interesting.

Thanks very much for this video. I've been looking for information on Rigotti reeds after hearing Tom Ridnour say that he likes Rigotti best because they use a very high quality cane. (kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGiyl6WBmpehpsk at about 17:24.) Of course, Tom is well known for his ATG reed finishing system, so that made me wonder if you did any work on the reeds you reviewed or just played on them out of the box. You play beautifully; I wish you would have included more of your playing in the video.

In my opinion, 3.5 V12 is more right with BD5 and BD4, 3.5+ will be too hard. I also play 3.5+ V12 but with a 5RV lyre. They also feel right with M30, not with BDs.
