OK, so we all know ANTI took 4 years to be released as well. And she explained why: she didn't want it to be rushed because that's what music was like at that time! She wanted to do something different and not just blindly follow every trend. She wanted to feel her music and trust the way her music made her feel. That's why she created ANTI and it was (for me) her best album to date, also being considered one of the best albums of the 2010's by critics. I think, she probably wants to do the same thing with R9. And I'll gladly wait, because the more time it takes, the bigger the chances are of it being a masterpiece.
