Asia Ford: in the studio a singer can sing and edit the song multiple times, manipulate the sound (with the help of sound engineer), and they're in a better condition physically and vocally. i like rihanna's studio songs but she just doesn't have a strong vocals and she knows this and that's fine. it's weird tho cause kylie minogue doesnt also have strong vocals but her songs sound better when she sings it live and more importantly she sticks to her range.
