It's not a song about competition the reason why others singers are singing it. They are singing this song becasue it touched their heart or even a tribute to others people in their life. It touched my heart because it's so a beautiful and emotional song. Great job Rhianna! No one will have a voice exactly like Rhianna unique voice. Lost my dad 8/19/21, lost my mom 12/17/21. Both sudden and unexpected. I was 34 at the time and close with both of them regardless of the distance between us. This song, any version, but this one and Rihanna’s OG version, trigger the tears the tears right away.
