My experience has been when a man is caught in a lie and you bring it up, he will get defensive and go bonkers! He will do this if he is hiding something, weather it's his sexuality, his cheating, etc. My daughter's biological was that way. This was almost 30 years ago but he would beat me up and abuse me. I too was young (18/19) at the time. Turns out he is bi-sexual. All those years trying to hide it and he took it out on me....what a loser!

My father used to beat my mother and I can't tell you how many times as a young child I to call the police. Sometimes running to a neighbor's house to get help. I know why my mother stayed, as she was a young woman in a new country without any family support; only had him to rely on and me to take care of. There was some part of me that was mad with her for staying and then mad at myself for forgiving my dad. I remember a few years after this interview there was a photo of Rhianna and Chris at a awards show in the front row hugging and smiling for a picture and I was so angry, but I was angry at her. I kept thinking you have all the money in the world you don't need to depend on him and here you are smiling as if he never beat you, and I'm sure there were other times that the world didn't know. But this is just my opinion on it.

This interview is weird. Watching it again makes me wonder if she was prepped to omit certain details about what really happened or abc deliberately edited it out. Yes, he’s a man knowing he’s stronger than her and could really hurt her. I remember when the Jackson’s asked him to do a tribute to Micheal. So he performed singing “The Man In The Mirror” and he broke down so bad he was crying and singing. So he was feeling really bad about how he did her and how the media treated him. I do not agree with a man hitting his love, however, looking at solange being physical against Jayz....you can see that some woman go nuts with arms flailing, nails scratching, and there is a need to get that under control. The sad part is what Chris did to control it in the car. But in the moment of emotional escalation bad decisions happen. She "seems" like the type that will go off, full on crazy. I knew a dude once that did not want to get married because of the horror stories of the wife going nuts in a fight and threw knives at the husband. This does happen more often than not.....but no one talks about it. What a powerful couple - THE POWER COUPLE - they could have been by this time. I sincerely hope that both of them have received extensive therapies. This young girl hit first, what girls forget is that sometimes you can get hit back! She took the keys, she pretty much started the whole fight. And since she was mad and bitter, she let her manager or whoever convince her to try and destroy Chris Brown life, all stemmed from jealousy! They both fought it got ugly, but, they both are to blame for this.
