When I was in preschool(a catholic preschool)I used those little black Halloween stamps all over my whole body. My mom was desperately trying to wash it off before school, but it wouldn’t come off. I was flipping out thinking people would think I was dirty or something. Well, I knew Coal Miner’s Daughter by Loretta Lynn as a 4 year old, and I’m a coal miner’s great granddaughter, so my mom told me to just think of that. That was the day we went into the church to practice Christmas carols for an upcoming event. The other kids were all singing carols...I was shouting Coal Miner’s Daughter at the top of my lungs in the church. Needless to say, my mom got a call to the principal’s office.

R S Honestly yeah, I am. They didn’t give us bibles but they did have a mini confessional in the cafeteria once. Also, yeah, I’m an atheist. My parents are catholic and wanted me to be raised catholic, but eventually gave up on that.

I was humming this really quietly while walking in the hallway at school (during class so I thought i was alone) and lightly singing it under my breath, some teacher walked past and went "sing it girl" Edit: lmao yall really acting like I lied over something so dumb. I go to a school known for it's fine arts program. I'm in the music portion so teachers in the arts hallway (where this happened) it's strange to see someone humming or mumbling a song, they're usually bold about it, that's why he said "sing it girl". Because its unusual for me not to sing out, he didnt even know what song it was, just heard a faint melody. Y'all gotta chill lmao

The comments in a nutshell: 100% of them: I never knew this song was about Sadism and Masochism! 100% of them: I used to sing this as a child! I never knew it was about Sadism and Masochism! 100% of them: The lyrics are so..sexual. 10 of them: *Some sort of fandom reference/reference to something in general* 1% of them: Yes, I knew Rihanna's S&M song was about Sadism and Masochism. Sadism being about Getting pleasure by giving and watching people in pleasureful pain and Masochism being about Receive pleasure from pain. Even though i sung this as a child or heard a friend/parental figure singing it and my young brain thinking nothing sexual or fetish related. Now since I am a Teenager or a Adult, I fully understand the lyrics on how they are about said two fetishes: Sadism and Masochism. I will still like and sing this song when and wherever I please.
