No one is mad because she's white, they're mad they she took the Caribbean feel out of the song and replaced it with a bland sounding song. Rih is Caribbean and she is speaking in her native language. The words are still understandable when Rih sings but because of her accent and the fast pace of the song it's hard for some ppl (white ppl) to understand her. But now that this singer covered the song in a slower pace and without an accent now everyone is like "I finally can understand her". Some ppl were claiming that Rih was speaking jibberish in her song.
