Rii K22 Multimedia Wireless Keyboard with Touchpad Review

Thank you ! Our K400+ was out of commission after a pipe burst (the whole PC and display got wet too), so this was very helpful. Prices here today favour the Rii - the Logitech RRP is 50% higher than the Rii on Amazon UK, the variable discounts make it less of a difference today. Still, it is 30% extra to get the Logitech, which is not rechargeable. Now that is not such a downer as it might be, since our pair of Procell AA cells in our K400+ were still going fine after over a year's use in our main desktop PC, which doubles as an entertainment source in the evenings. But I do like rechargeble hardware! Having bought the Rii K22 I would call it an upgrade over the (very good) K400+. That Rii keyboard? l love it, and I learned to hunt-and-peck on a kids 'Petite' toy typewriter over 70 years ago - did a Sight & Sound' touch-typing course in my gap year, and have only slowed down since the arthritis has started to bite. Retired in the year 2000. The Rii just suits me better than the Logitech, (just sayin' ). . . feels crisper typing , and I prefer their trackpad. And , we have benefited from Murphy's Law - by buying a replacement _before_ trying to dry out the Logitech, we now have two good keyboards. Yes, it dried out eventually, as did the PC - and (much much longer) the display, so we are going again.👍

The position of the right shift key on the Logitech would drive me crazy, and that would likely be the case with any 10 finger typer. That alone is a deal-breaker The standard layout of the K22 is much nicer.

Does the Trackpad have the ‘pinch-to-zoom’ facility …using thumb and 1st finger (open / closed ) for ‘zooming in’ to make viewed pages bigger ? or is it ‘finger swipe’. ( scrolling up & down ) pages only ?…

Does this keyboard allows to use Windows gestures 3 and/or 4 fingers ( to change windows and desktops ) ?????

I buy this keyboard from amazon and the both shift keys was working for a couple of hours. now dosent work anymore… all keys flashing the blue led but for shift key not working… Tested on tv, raspberry pi, macbook, windows pc…. any method to use it?

Hi- thanks for your review :) I am having trouble making it work on my Android box with NETFLIX! I can use the trackpad to scroll vertically through the categories..., but CANNOT figure out HOW to make it move horizontally to reveal more film choices once I have decided on the category- if you know what I mean? Like I do with the remote for the Android TV without the box. The "page" arrows don't seem to work, and the trackpad stops working when I get to the far right of the visible film selections IE: it won't reveal the NEXT selection moving to the right!!!!!!! ANY info/help would be GREATLY appreciated :) PS- i have the keyboard almost exactly like yours but with the blue red green backlit illumination.

When using the unifying usb receiver included with the keyboard, it appers on the device as a single peripheral? Did you try it with your 12.9 ipad pro 2018? Was wondering if both the keyboard and touchpad would work at the same time with it, or one would get some issues.
