My favourite Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson interview, with Merrick and Rosso on Triple J in 2000. I recorded this off the radio myself back then, god knows how many times I've listened to this...it's still so classic and terribly funny!

14:59 I still have my copies of "How to be a Complete Bastard" (1986), "The Young Ones Book: Bachelor Boys" (1984) and "The Comic Strip Presents..." script book (1983) all still in very good condition after all these years. Thanks for uploading this broadcast. It's great to hear them all pissing themselves laughing. Great photo of the two of them too. It would make a great desktop wallpaper.

Saw these chaps live on stage in Southampton back in the early 2000s. I laughed so much, I was gasping for air and spent most of the time trying not to piss myself! RIP The Rik!

Thanks for posting this. The 2 "Americans" who saw the "Young Ones" were probably from NYC because we were the only ones watching it on MTV by the late 1980's - early 1990s & laughing ourselves silly. But that's because they reminded us of punk squatters from L.E.S. & Alphabet City most of them were college students.
