first one to view it that makes me feel special I have this on dvd I remember watching it when I was kid, I always got excited as a kid knowing rik was going to be on tv wish he would of been on it more. Though this was great also because it showed what a great straight actor he was. I hope itv lets it stay on here. rip Rik you were and still are my hero :)

Yay! thanks for viewing. I too have the DVD, but this is a VHS recording from the original broadcast, not that it makes much difference! I'm digitising all my old VHS tapes so it just had to be added. The copyright of the songs featured may mean it's blocked in some countries, but hopefully it will stay! He will always be my hero too :)

Wow, you're the same age as my daughter then! It thrills me to discover so many younger people are getting into his work. His humour manages to tap into that kid within us all, even when we are supposed to be grown up.

I loved this, loved it when it was originally shown. Julie & Neil are adorable together shame it wasn't longer film or made into a series in itself, and they had kissed properly at the end. Wish Rik had played more characters like this had lovely twinkle in his eyes perfect for romantic lead. The subtle looks he gives as the character is falling in love with Julie are so sweet 💞
