Had problems with my turtle mode, but found out that when you have your beeper on your disarm switch so when the quad is disarmed it beeps. It will interfere with the dshot command telling the motors to go into turtle mode, so when turtle mode was on the motors would not go into reverse. They would spin the normal way and it wouldnt flip back over.

I setup my turtlemode on aux4. When i try to arm it failsafe? I have my ur65 bound to d8 mode not d16. So my beeper works but since this turtle mode wouldnt work 4 me i decided screw it ill keep the beeper and remove turtle mode.

What happens if you don't do it in DFU mode and flashed it? (It didn't say fail or anything)

for some reason my quad goes into turtle mode but doesnt have the power to flip the quad over? any idea how i can increase the power of turtle mode? its a ur65 so shouldnt have a problem doing it

Make sure you have the latest version of BLHeli flashed in your ESCs. And if that doesn't work, maybe you have a bad motor?

RikkTheGaijin got the latest version of blheli and it doesn’t flip in any direction, it’s as if it just doesn’t have the power? Even with max throttle (flies completely fine)

Did you ever sort this out in having this issue, it's all set up to work but just doesn't flip.

@@connormullan yeah everything is working great, I have the mode enabled, I can make individual props move, but the quad skimms across the floor at speed instead of flipping, I get the occasional flip if it hits something during its skimming

On banggood website it says that you shoulnt flash esc firmware cuz it will damage the motors. On the UR65. Is that a trouble or not?

I flashed BF 3.4 from the link in the description and the latest BLhelli 16.7 added an AUX channel for the TM but it still isn’t working. What am I missing?

That's odd. I can only think that you forgot to assign the correct placement of the position switch to your AUX.

Yesterday night I did the flash according to your video, but I understand that the firmware you provide is for frysky. I did it but I did not recognize the flysky, the receiver, no matter how hard I put the appropriate option and then it recorded, when reconnecting, the receiver option appeared with nothing. I had to update to the normal 3.4.0 and everything configured, but now the station does not recognize me. Will I have to re-bin the station and the CrazybeeF3? regards

Jorge SM yes you have to re bind the quad to your radio after every firmware update

Right, I did it last night and I already have the station connected. Now to see the channels that only pitch and roll works for me. What was not worth is to flash to the 3.4 that you give us to download. It must be only for the taranis, for the flysky it's not worth it. I will try this weekend and if the antiturtle works for the flysky.

My motors spin up etc but it doesnt flip over. Edit **********Ok now Ive got it to flip over but you have to give it full right stick for about 2 secs. In your video you are barely touching the aileron. ??????????

I already solved that the accelerator works. Now I am trying to make the antiturtle work for me. According to your instructions first I have to activate the lever of the antiturtle, then arm and finally ROLL, is it correct ??

Jorge SM no, after your quad is flipped, you have to disarm, then switch the turtle mode on, then re-arm and now you can move the stick to flip it back.

Ok, maybe I expressed myself badly, what you mention to me now is what I wanted to tell you and yesterday I tried it and it works perfectly. Much better than in a bigger racer. The propellers are protected in this small one. regards

Which one do you like better: Snapper6 or UR65?

Both have pros and cons. Snapper 6 is faster and more suitable when there is a bit of wind. UR65 flies longer, and it's easy to do Acro with it.

your beeper may not work could be because of 3.4RC version, I use 3.3.3 stable version. everything works perfectly.

Which quad did you try? For me the 3.3.3 doesn't work with the Snapper 6. The only one that works is the 3.4.0.

I have both UR65 and snapper6 and they both work great with 3.3.3. Beeper, turtle mode, motor beacon they all work. Oh and my is flight controller is flysky protocol. Your video helps me solve the 3.3.3 flashing problem, ty. I also use jumper t8sg radio. I went back and looked at your setting and my setting. The differences are as followed. Of course this is my setting but it might help you. In my BLheli configuration: My setting is- uncheck= programming by tx turn off= temperature protection check= brake on stop 1 minute= beacon delay In my Beta flight: I used impulserc drive(as you recommend) to get DFU mode BUT I flashed 3.3.3 straight from Betaflight firmware flasher(online). I turned "OFF"= full chip erase In configuration in BF, 8kHz and 2kHz as recommended by maker( anything else will give you problem sooner or later) Dshot beacon configugation= ON extra: in cli= set beeper_dshot_beacon_tone = 1 Everything else is practically the same. Interesting. 3.3.3 didn't work for me, the only difference is the receiver, I use FrSky.

the beeper didn't work in 3.3.0 and turtle mode did work. with 3.3.3 everything works. sorry your does not work. heck the only thing now is to figure out how to put starwar tone on it.
