I believe I read somewhere, like 3-4 years ago, that someppl from Square went to an ani-con and upon seeing all the people dressed up as FF and other Square characters and they felt honored by the fans devotion. I saw some pictures of the cosplayers and although the costumes looked good and well made. The ppl kinda, how should I put it nicely, looked like an insult to the characters they was cosplaying as. But the ppl who designed the characters liked the ppl going outta their way and doing this
