Actually it's almost whole apartment of him. At the plan in 1:23 you can see how the whole apartment looks like. Near to door there is very little toilet and bathroom, and kitchen - you can go there from this verry narrow corridor... it's very small and then only this room. That't his whole apartment. But actually japanese apartment's are very expensive, good for him he has this one in pretty new building XD
