I think it should take ki from both characters for the damage but i think most of the duel ultimates cost three bars so you get wat you pay for, if you want that explosive damage you just have to coordinate with a teammate the old fashioned way lol

I think damage output should combine. For example, I have 125 ki blast super and whoever duals with me has a 75 that should hit with the impact of a 200 ki blast super ult. If it's melee then the same concept except you combine strike sup damage.

Trade off is it looks cool. All only cost 3 bars. Lastly when a teammate confirms the damage is guaranteed where as normal ults can miss or an evasive can get your target out of danger.

My only gripe about Dual Ultimates are they are far too weak to be ultimates. And don't hand me that "but they had to nerf them cuz they could be too OP" or that "just increase your friendship meter with your trainer" I can one shot just about every character at level 99 with their maximum health with my Ki builds, Rebrianne is the only character who doesn't die in one shot cuz her health is above 30k. So that "too OP" nonsense doesn't mean jack when you can already be absurdly OP.

First off you gotta equip them, then you do them the same way you do every other ultimate in the game, if one of your teammates do it, you'll have to do a quick time event so you can do it with them. If you haven't unlocked any yet,you have to max out your friendship with your masters then they'll give it to you. The dual ultimates that aren't unlocked by masters can be bought at the tp medal shop for 500 tp medals each.
