i've watched this video literally 17 times.. the part where riley get pushed against the wall and almost cries still makes me really sad, i almost want to cry.. i went through almost the same thing only i didnt have any gay friends, or really anyone supportive (at that time).. i was also a star athlete (on the track team), so this really hits home..

Honestly the gay story line i could have releated most with was Fiona. Mostly because with riley and marco, most of there problem only excisted because they where gay, to the point it somewhat became there personality (i mean other then liking sports, anger problems and being gay i can't say anything els about Fiona) While with Fiona being gay is a part of her character but it wasn't the only thing she had to her.

Riley reminds me so much of myself being so angry all the time. Not loving myself then coming out as gay to one person, going back in, saying I’m bi, saying homosexuals is bad. Just like Riley I went through so many fights I even punched a gay guy at the bus stop one time. I hated myself so much to the point I really didn’t have any friends. It was until my junior year I started to actually come out to my friends and accept myself and then In college I came out to my family and now I’m so happy with myself and a weight has lifted from my shoulders so Riley’s story hits home so much. Except the whole jock vibe I was more of a loner musical art freak than a jock lmao

petereuk52 Jesus fucking Christ, they didn't make it like this. But they showed that this "gay cure" exists but it doesn't work because being gay is not a disease ... Another example is AHS Asylum where we have Lana being Lesbian and they show that "There's the gay cure" but it didn't work. She couldn't be straight... that's the whole point of showing it.

If you think this series is just okay, I HIGHLY recommend Elias's story, starting around #30 I think it has subtitles on the actual video, but for the ones before it you just have to watch it on a computer and click the subtitles button on the bottom of the video. It is Sooooo addicting because it is so good!!! Trust me
