I love how we literally don't know shit about Granddad's wife, but we get the impression that Granddad's obsession with hooking up with hot young women probably comes from how empty he feels without her. That's the thing about addictions. They come from an attempt to fill a void, and Granddad's addiction to women and sex is no different

It’s their parents cause whenever we get any flash backs of grandad he always has his glasses it’s not a mistake, and it’s not explained but in a way it is when it’s cutting back to bob Ross and Riley to escaping the cops the gun shots correlate to the mural and the shots so they most likely died in a shooting

riley keeps having all of the interactions with white people that leaves an impression on him. ed and rummy, and now bob ross. it's like they influence him and he's their follower, while with huey he has the secret agent and his old teacher that tried to either control him into conforming, or huey took a leader role and took control of the play. i wonder if that was done on purpose. i might be looking too deep into it because gangstalicious kind of had an impression on riley too and he's black. lol but that "you're blocking the tv" line made me fall out laughing. lol

It's definitely his parents. Riley is a little kid, and was told to paint something he lost. What little kid would skip over the fact that both of his parents are dead, to paint his grandparents instead ??? Plus we see grandad at that age multiple times in the show. Why would the show creator choose this one time to have him depicted differently ??? That's clearly Grandad's son. They share a resemblance, but only because their father and son.
