Curious question; why does Rilla fake tasks when you get fake tasks to do?

It's about having the appearance of doing something. If you're actually doing a fake task then you can't pay attention to your surroundings to see who's nearby because the task directs your POV to it. Sure you can see people walking around on most tasks, but it's best to keep your screen open. I think the devs were comparing it to Among Us (this is speculation, not sure if it's true) because in Among Us as an Imposter, you can't do tasks at all, so you have to fake tasks based on what's on the to-do list. So perhaps even Rilla is just stuck in that mentality? Either way it makes it more convincing that you're doing something which pushes people away from suspecting you're bad. Just like at the part of when Rilla was Professional Duck, because Rocky called out that he was in cams talking to Rilla in the vents, he didn't suspect him of being the killer because of where he was. If Kyle hadn't said he was Detective, everyone would have voted Chrono and Rilla would have gotten away with a victory.
