Talan was awesome last night @ Boothill Speedway! My daughter has been fan since the start of his racing career and last night she was able to meet him after he won the feature. Our trailer is right across from tech and she was able to catch him. I can't thank him enough for taking the time to chat with her for a few minutes. She said, "he was so nice and down to earth, just very genuine, but I forgot to ask him when he'll be back so I can get one of shirts, I was so excited to get to meet him!". Adam that young man is making sure that racing is definitely in good hands for the future. It was awesome to see him riding the rim that hard. I have watched a lot of drivers do that and a lot of the time it didn't end up going well after a long run like that. He reminded me a lot of Terry Phillips, Scott Bloomquist, and Jonathon Davenport with that style of running. I hope to one day watch him race in person. Keeping yall in my prayers.

Brother awesome race! Talan was on kill with his driving. I always in my comments try to say something about mom and daughter. Two very special people. I see the love in your wife's face when Talan is in victory lane but that same love is all over her face with your daughter as well. It takes all of you working together to make it happen for sure. Well getting that new modified should tell you everything you need to know about having a new car vs having an older car? #1- run the SLM with Comp Cams #2-run with Cade at the Brian Mize Memorial $3000 to win. #3- stay away from the big money races. It’s a cut throat world racing for that kind of money. Sure it would be nice to win $30,000, but we don’t want to bring it home in pieces either. That’s just the opinion of an old retired racer speaking from experience. I used to go to the Alabama State Championship races at Phenix City, Alabama. Over 100 cars in every class. Just not worth it to me. Good luck with whatever you decide. I’m glad to see Talan smile again. It been a rough year. Keep it up. He is only getting better every time out regardless what he is driving.

Yes I do agree. It’s just a little different situation for us. We send Halle to school for a few hours a day to just have some short of social life. My wife has no time to home school Talan at all. He is probably to the age where he could do it himself now though. So could be a good option!
