I think it's very possible I mean, a Mario Maker 3 seems like it would definitely happen due to how popular 1 and 2 are, and it would only make sense to have the latest 2D game as a theme, due to how much love wonder is getting already

God I am so sad they never thought of dlc for this game. Also not hearing the over the top bowser missile sounds the airship theme kind of shares some neo bowser city elements.

"Never thought of DLC" is really not how this works. They are choosing the most profitable course for their company. If they made new and exciting levels for this game it would be taking away resources for their future big projects that will be needed to help boost the Switch 2.

And how do you know this? Cause there's certainly the chance the concept of dlc just never came up, I simply said they never thought about it because that's how it looks to the typical outsider.

I wish the base game had more special worlds that combined level themes with different wonder effects like this, and if it also had unique Koopalings/bosses for each world it would have made the base game a 10/10. Lack of levels in general in the post-game, under-utilizing wonder effects and a lack of good bosses drops it down a couple of pegs. If there's a sequel I really hope to see new bosses and more flexibility in how wonder effects are approached. It might sound crazy to others but I really feel like NSMBU was a better PLATFORMER than Wonder, simply because the levels had good design, pits and you could approach them with different powerups (propeller, acorn, fire flower etc) whereas Wonder is really just a visual on-the-rails spectacle that loses its novelty after the first playthrough. Just felt like getting it out there

One thing I was incredibly disappointed in was the lack of power-ups. There were so many cool ideas they could have gone with. Like how the cat suit can climb up walls. And semi walls. It would be so cool to see more of this game

@@GrilledPancake Yeah I felt like there were nowhere near enough power-ups in this game. It really forces you to play the exact way the developers intended, and if not then the levels just become boring straight lines with little to no variation, because most of the design hinges on the wonder segments. Insane amounts of potential in Mario Wonder and knowing Nintendo, Luigi U was a one-off so we won't get a level pack or anything, we'll just have to wait years longer for a proper sequel if that even happens

NSMBU being a better platformer is a stretch lol. Wonder has pretty solid level design even outside of the wonder effects, it’s just a little easier. U’s levels don’t flow nearly as well.

One last thing, watching this video a second time makes me so mad. How can Nintendo create a game with INFINITE combinations for level ideas then seemingly throw it in the garbage? They barely used some of the wonder effects, have not released and DLC, and it'll probably be at least a couple of years before the sequel if ever. I'm so mad lol, Rimea showing us what is possible and Nintendo silencing him makes it all worse
