Bul Armory 1911 with Tactical Solutions 2211 conversion, Allchin Compensator & mount and C-More Red dot. Rifle I currently use is a Tactical Solutions X-Ring with C-More, Allchin Mount and Hogue Thumbhole stock

First time seeing this. Is this race gunning? I live in the 5th largest US city and unfortunately we seem to have little or no rimfire organizations or challenges. I have a Mark IV 22/45 Lite with a Vortex red dot, TK compensator, and TK charger. Is that a good platform for this? I was looking at building out a 10/22 clone with KIDD and Volquartsen parts, but more for accuracy; might build one as a race gun as well. I would assume you want a light gun with a light trigger. Would a 1 or 2 stage trigger be preferable? Any suggestions or input is welcome.

Those guns would be perfect to race. Yes. This is rimfre race gunning. Look for USPSA Steel challenge or RCSA Rimfire Challenge and those are great places to start. Oh, and I prefer a single stage kidd trigger. But, sounds like youre good to go. Just find a club and the folks there are very friendly and will help you get started. But I will warn you that it is the most fun you can have with a 22 and highly addicting!

Great video and very nice setup. i recently bought a cmore and i own both a buckmark and a 1022 that i use just for fun target practice at the range, im looking for a club in my state of wisconsin that does steel challenge. Is there a reason you dont use a 90 degree mount on either of your platforms? They seem to be the new thing on the block, 90 degree mounts for the c-more. To get the sight closer to the barrel. It changed the obstruction from central to the left hand side though which could be a downside, im interested in your thoughts on those mounts. Doesnt look like you would need them to be any faster, very nice shooting.

@@TrentonMitsuoka Christmas wish list time. When building out a 10/22 for a race gun, what type of barrel is deal? I mean heavy vs light. long vs short. etc, not brands.
