Bugs was conducting, and when a fly landed on his nose, he tried to swat it away, making the orchestra play like crazy for a few seconds. As to how Rimsky-Korsakov composed this piece, it was part of his opera, The Tale of Tsar Sultan, where the characters are tormented by a bumblebee. He visualized the mood expertly.

Some bumblebees steal nectar, making a hole near the base of a flower to access the nectar while avoiding pollen transfer. Bumblebees are important agricultural pollinators, so their decline in Europe, North America, and Asia is a cause for concern. The decline has been caused by habitat loss, the mechanisation of agriculture, and pesticides.

Always been a nature lover. From an early age, I can recall looking through a book on wild animals, we had in the house, that had everything from Beatles to Buffalo, and even Bumblebees.
