Apparently if you reduce the resource acquisition radius on workbench jobs it prevents the framerate dropping issue, another streamer I watch always sets his to 50, makes sense as it means all these benches aren't having to search the whole map for items every time they start a new job. Hope this helps, loving the series 👏🏻

28:49 And there goes the glitterworld medicine again. Kinda idiotic that the default for temp pawns is glitterworld medicine. You really should just go and install the smarter medical system mod and honestly also the no owners for basic crafting things. Fixing bad game mechanics with mods is fine, one could argue almost mandatory for basic enjoyment.
