Fun fact: In the StarCraft lore, Hydralisks were created from a species of herbivores. While the Hydralisk is capable of eating meat, it’s never clarified if they have been morphed into obligate carnivores or if they are omnivorous creatures.

Pretty sure that regardless of previous eating habits, every zerg becomes a carnivore, or an omnivore. It isn't implied anywhere, but it's possible Zerg can live off ANY sustenance they can find, as some of them seem to survive on fucking lava worlds with no creep to back them up, so that sustenance may include local earthy minerals, or even solar energy/radiation, maybe even heat.

Protip: berserk prisoners will smash through doors to try to get to your colonists, but they won't smash through walls. So an easy fix is to just but a wooden wall behind the door to wall them in. After a few seconds they will detect that there is no path to you through the door and they will stop. They will then just start wondering in their room aimlessly until their mental break ends. It may take a while, sometimes all the way until they collapse from hunger. Make sure you are ready to deconstruct the wall and save them. If prisoners aren't part of your faction, the only mental breaks they can get are berserk and crisis of faith. So if you have a hard time keeping their mood high enough to avoid mental breaks, you can just wall them in beforehand and let them break. It will make it easier to convert them and you can use their periods of catharsis to lower their resistance and whatnot.

One of my Modpacks was tribal, Fuu's Tibals set packs, tribal names, empress evil story pack, empress evil story pack expanded, neolithic craft and it's packs, the zerg, prehistoric biomes, biomes core, biomes aspesen/tiaga packs, better infestations and limiting myself and the AI to neolithic - medieval tech for fine measure on Empress Evil Setting. Be the bug, emprace the bugs, or be the saviour and exterminator. Everyone does their part!

I remember accepting quest that given me vanomeric generator and i got raided by tribe but(due to rimwar mod and random relationship and raider ideo) there a fallen empire raided me too they just figth eachother and after all i had 4 free colonists that was staying for 5 days and 3 usual and 2 big turrets but i am really geting annoyed by sheer amount of raids i have (MY FRIDGE IS SHEER HEAVEN FOR CANNIBALS!) Atleast i have vanila expanded mechanoids and i got starting point at factory which was producing iron that helps produce components and tier 1 adroids is a good meat shield

In my current run, my tribal society where my main character lucked into a dead man wearing flak gear and wielding a battle rifle had him and his two tamed rimguai take on three fully geared enemies from cryptosleep, only to get completely domed and had to tend himself during combat, somehow resulting in him becoming a trauma savant. Luckily his wife is fine on social skills, but he's also the leader of the faith, so like, that sucks. But somehow despite technically missing an eye, permanent damage to the right thigh, and permanent brain damage so bad he's now a deaf mute he's actually at 98% health, the -2 from the crippled leg pain, and either at or above 100% on everything else. How? He's got an archotech eye (RP item), trauma savant, and three bionic toes that somehow give him more than enough movement to offset the leg damage. Honestly, if he didn't already have a 0.44% critical break range, I'd make him the godking because he both founded the colony, invented half the shit they know, still does at least half the work in a 6 person colony, got married, his wife's pregnant, he saved his sister from slavery, he singlehandedly secured a religious artifact, and has saved literally everyone in the colony from death at least once. If that's not a decent godking, I don't know who is. Expect the God Emperor of Mankind, but like, he's the God Emperor.
