AMAZING drone got even BETTER! Avionrc Ikon 2.5 MAX Review

I build a 2.5 4s, with 1404 4600kV motors, and it flies really fast and nice : with 550mah 4s battery, it weights 185g and motors never get warm even a little, even when flying really aggressively. I bought some of these eachtime-breaking props, but never tested them. Instead, I'm using 3 times cheaper ones (I-flight 3blades 2.5x2.5), still never had to change even one!! After more than 10 crashes, I only rectify one or two blades by twisting it softly to lower/higher it back from one or two millimeters. But I don’t know if they could fit on this one with its tunings... (they're square-ended propellers that look more designed for pusher ducted drones, but I'm really satisfied with it on my acro drone!) But I don’t have much to compare: this 2.5 homebuild is my very first "serious" drone. I started in drones two years ago with a Dji Mini2, and went into fpv with a BetaFPV Cetus X 2s and a Meteor65 pro 1s. I really had a lot of fun with both, but know I'm totally in love with my 2.5 homebuild, it's a rocket. I build it on Sologood 17€ Aliexpress frame, with I-flight Xing2 1404 4600kv, and a Speedybee AioF405, and I really love it full stock tuning !! I didn't dare trying to tune it differently for two reasons: the first one is that I didn't know the theorics until recently, and the second one is that, even knowing better what PID and rates are and how they work, I find this homebuild incredibly well balanced for a stock tuned machine ! There is only sometimes a very light propwash, when doing a very fast and aggressive U-turn. But it's so gentle, and happens only in so extreme conditions, that I don’t know if it could be fixed. So for now, I enjoy it as it is... but I know I will have to know more about tunings... so remind me to make a backup of these stock tunings that fits me so well, before exploring things!! Maybe I'll make a video of this drone and its building process soon...

I would consider the ikon 3 but what about the noise, which one is most stealthy between the 2.5, 3 and 3.5 ?

If you lower motor output in betaflight to 84% the motor kv will effectively be around 3800 and you can easily fly that on 6s at 2.5 inches. It's actually amazing, I just built a 2.5 inch and I'm using 3800kv motors on 6s and they dont even get warm and drone flies great. Definitely worth a shot ;D

I am in process of building the quadmula djinn 2.5 with a 40 amp aio and the tmotor pacer motors that are 1604 2850 6s and those are motors that people fly the 3.5 on with 6s and with the aio stack and vista on it with 450 mah 6s pack its like 235 grams and should be a blast

@@Krash_fpv nooooooooooo!! haha I literally just built that f25 a week ago with the same exact motors on 6s and it sucked. I had to get the 3800kv version of the same motor and I run it at 100% motor output and it's amazing. Using the 2850's the drone had zero punch to it. Really sucked as both my friend and I were making the same drone and we both were so disappointed with the kv. When you build the drone and are disappointed with it, get the 3800kv and remember this comment 2850kv is not high enough for props that small. I'm going to reuse those motors on a 3.5 build.😭
