25 min flight time with a 20% larger capacity battery over the mini series that can last 30 mins. Can only track people, slow, very noisy. Why would you even bother when you have the Air3? I think you need to think carefully as the Air3s plus the Neo as a drone that will never break under normal flying. While the Air3s for the picture quality and performance.

Totally agree no good selfie drones, yes I have the Neo for that purpose, but as you say crash the Neo and pick it up and start again, crash the Flip and hope to pick it up and start again. Its already been proven the gimbal is poorly protected and extremely fragile. Noisy, yes not nearly as high pitched as the Neo, although aftermarket props are now available for the Neo that lower the pitch a lot so less of an annoying noise. Very poor battery life considering it's 20% more capacity than the mini drones while has a shorter flight time.

Agree on all points, btw the neo is more High pitch yes but the overall volume is lower, just more annoying We should be close to good selfie drones, maybe even this year

I simply want a drone that can follow me on my MTB or MTS (mountain scooter!) doing tricks down forested single-track, some switchbacks at 15-20mph. So far, I haven't seen a single drone, including Mini Pro4, that can handle following a mountain biker at fun speeds in forests. I'm, also not sure about investing over $1K in something like a traditonal MiniPro 4 drone and controller, where the initial impetus was a cool, compact follow me camera drone for under $500. Please someone invent a sub $1K follow-me drone camera with fast speed, good obstacle avoidance and good cameras!

On the sides no one, but the mini 4 has incredible obstacle avoidance, just needs the selfie button, hover has the back sensor at least and stops when going backwards

I’m really not sure who this drone is for. It’s basically a Mini 4 Pro without omnidirectional avoidance. DJI is just releasing this and the Neo to add to their sub 250 lineup. It’s not really an upgrade of any kind.

Thank you! Always try to be as objective as possible to give good recommendation! The orange props are somewhat smoother and more silent, I use them mostly because my drone has been replaced, and the one DJI sent has jello with regular props, instead the orange don't

I want a punchy fast also has ability to mid long range i don't want something bigger than 5" thats so big for me. I am living at a town far from city i want to do some exploration flights also take cinematic footages now i am looking for flywoo explorer lr4 or geprc tern lr 40 But i heard long range drones are fragile i don't know what I'm going to do can you help? Good review. And I laughed. Not rotating for vertical shooting is a feature, not a bummer. Vertical video is stupid in any event, but with a drone it reaches a new level of stupid. One thing: DJI quotes a bitrate of only 100 Mbps for the Mini 3, but 150 for the Flip. Now... they also quote 120 for the Air 3S, and as we all know by now this is BS and they have gimped it to sub-70 Mbps. So I guess we need someone to test the Flip's bitrate.

I was very reticent about the whole vertical video thing, but since it's widespread now and when working some companies need it, I find that the mini 3 and 4 are incredible drones for that, and also when creating social content the added fov is really welcome! Bitrate is only one part, more can be good but often it is not the bottleneck, I also wish it was selectable, on my A7SIII I shoot most videos in 4k h265 xavc HS 10bit at 45 Mbps, and the footage is crazy fine, unless you have fast moving objects or weird lighting, and save so much memory on drive ahahah, it's just harder to read and edit
