Rin's music video for their song sakura sakura... japanese traditional folk music with a modern twist at it's best.
thx for the lyrics:
Mabushi kumai chinu sakura iroi kokoro hodo kete
tsuki akari no naka kimi no kao ga ukande kieta
Machi tsuzuketa ano koe n'de te wo furu kage sagasu kedo
itsuka no kaze hoho ni furete haru o tsutaeru deshou
awoku hikaru sakura namiki hana akari ya waraka no
kimi to hanare kimi wo tatoru ano hi mitatsuki wa sagashite
hiki dashi no naka shiketa hanabi kako daita mama
maichiru hana ware haru no namida kimi ga oshieta
Hana no youni kagayaite kaze no naka ikite yukou
suki wa michiru deshou sore douku douku (a~) akaruku terasu
Kono sakura no shita onaji omoi dakasun'da hito
ima toki wo koeze futari no kage sou toke sanaru deshou

東京芸大出身の3人娘グループのRin'は、古典楽器を使って現代曲を表現する前衛音楽奏者だった。和みを感じる音楽は、古典楽器を使っているからでもある。解散してしまったのが残念です。 Rin' of three daughter groups from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music was the vanguard music player who expressed modern music with a classic musical instrument. The music to feel relief is because I use the classic musical instrument. I am sorry that I have been dissolved.

I then remembered... How it felt to hear beauty out of this world... I found myself thinking of a garden... A lake... Some birds flying peacefully towards the horizon... And a large willow tree which shade seemed to be greeting the lake... My eyes never blinked, and my mind was away... far far away... It instantly became my favorite piece for a long time to come... Then I come on here to hear the original... And I feel yet again taken away... Just like the very first time :)...

I've always liked Rin '. It makes you want to discover more! Rin' has never lost its roots, its ancestral traditions, his love of country. That's good! This can be seen in this great song! The group Rin' is very talented. Mixes with skill of traditional & modern sounds. Rin' has also always open to other countries. Congrats for this good tribute to Asia & Japan! "Sakura sakura" is sweetness, delicacy, grace, wisdom. Music is strong, mysterious.. Like cherry tree is! Big thought for Asia & Japan

The vocals are ethereal and moving, and I will definitely be putting this on my iPod if possible. Oh, and I think it's hilarious how a good portion of these video comments don't have anything to do with the music video.

I love focusing on my homes music and since pop moved in I wasn't able to enjoy much the natural and good music of before. Good thing I found this beautiful song.

Sakura Sakura is a six-syllable telecommunication jargon. It means "Your majesty, despite your care we failed to defend this last position. We fought till ALL soldiers' death and this is our last expression of loyalty. We, the officers, are doing the seppuku."

+NeptunianAngel No, it just means cherry blossom. Cherry blossoms have been used as symbols for falling soldiers for quite some time in Japanese history though, it is thought that in intense loyalty and fighting that the dying soldier is a sign of beauty

+Sven Rudolf Thank you for that. I have till just now not heard this so well articulated as to be accessible to the masses, you did the Warrior sub-culture a great service in your explanation of this concept.

Tangy Slash "The last message of the forces on Peleliu was "Sakura, Sakura" - cherry blossoms.[18]" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cherry_blossom Sa ku ra sa ku ra was code for fighting to the last man and losing the objective. So you look quite foolish now
