Best face mask making tutorial ever! Many thanks from the USA. I don't have a printer so this was awesome. Made two masks already. I increased the template size to fit someone with a wider face. If anyone is interested I increased the mask template to 28cm x 19cm and the lining to 15.5cm x 16cm which worked like a charm :) God bless, take good care, and stay safe everyone!

I like her other tutorial better I don't think this one fits very well right across the nose She doesn't have the metal wire to help the mask fit closer to the face

This is a brilliant video demonstration and even with the language barrier... I understood this better than others that are in English. Thank you.
Thank you for a very good demonstration! the double piece of material for the pocket piece can become too hot for a nurse after a period of time, and hard to breathe...my sister (a nurse) would suggest one layer and then slide in a disposable hepa vaccum bag filter...cut up vacum bag to make filters...also the elastic can be tight (and is almost impossible to get at this time) on some nurses with longer faces and hurt their ears...instead attach ties so they can tie and fit to their head... you can also add a small piece of bendable metal at bridge of nose so they can pinch it tighter...use file folder prongs, sandwich bag ties, foil that has been folded over or even cut up pieces of a disposable tin pan.

Caitlyn Bennett since these would be used for public not medical personnel, even ironing a fusible interfacing to the inner piece of fabric vs a double piece might work?
@dcwatashi4 жыл бұрын
@@susheela108 no don't use fusible interfacing I watched another video from a retired nurse and she said don't do that because of the glue
Although I don't understand Thai, your tutorial is very clear. I made many of these masks. It's very comfortable wear! Do you have the measurements for kid's mask?

Thanks for the tutorial. I made 7 yesterday and they are very easy to make. Not quick but easy. I added double pipe cleaner for the nose between the liner and the mask.
@mireyakearney91024 жыл бұрын
Marina Sithideth what seam allowance did you use for the two from lines at the front of the mask? And then, what seam allowance for the remainder of mask when sewing the four sides? Does this mask give you more space to breathe around the nose and mouth?
