The first Slam Masters was more akin to a real wrestling simulation while the part.2 is more of a fighting game. Overall still a good game.

Saturday night slam masters is sadly capcoms most underrated fighting game series. It's real shame that alot of these characters didn't get to playable in other stuff.

so far they are connected with Street Fighter like: • Titanic Tim is Birdie’s partner • Jumbo Flapjack lost to Balrog (mentioned in SF3 New Generation secret file at the Vale Tudo Eternal Fighting) • Gunloc is related to Guile its all on wikia & wikipedia on Slam Masters characters but yeah it be cool to see a Saturday Night Slam Masters rep appear

excellent capcom fighting arcade i enjoyed it in my adolescence in the real arcade and now i play it in mame emulator and it's a pretty weird fighting game combined with street fighte style my favorite player is beef without a doubt the good haggar representing the fight at the end with his classic pile driver movement in the most zanguief style the most notable are his cameos and references to other characters 10:23 as an example to blanca a lot of coincidence in appearances and movements

El nombre original del juego es muscle bomber, q es el mismo apodo que tiene Víctor Ortega(luchador invicto previo a muscle bomber 1, luego en el ring of destruction no se conoce el campeón final del juego... Lo curioso es que sale junto a Zalazof en el escenario del cumpleaños de Eliza en alpha 2...usando su cinturón de campeón... Definitivamente, es el wrestler más poderoso que CAPCOM oficialmente nos ha presentado

I played the original on SNES. Was a fun game but I was young and sucked at it lol. I think I played gunloc mostly. Cool that this game predates final fight and shows haggar during his wrestling days.

Yeah, slammasters 2 went for the more traditional route gameplay-wise. Its still a great game but it would have been great to see them really expand on the original's formula.

Bring this to XBOX with 12 or 18 new characters. This was a great stuff for Super Nintendo era. Stinger is like Rey Misterio. Grater is Vader. Hagar is Rick Rude. Great Oni is Jushin Liger / Psychosis. Rasta is Blanka from Street Fighter. Introduce a few new characters and rings for the tournament and this would still be a good game.
