Attaching the doorbell to the mount is a little difficult but once it locks into place it seems extremely sturdy. kzbin.infoUgkxxHZwMa8CsRjYhf9s4W8w0Dwm47uytWOp I replaced my regular doorbell with this and hard wired it in, using my existing wires and mechanical chime. It works perfect so far and integrates perfectly with my blink camera system. It also works seamlessly with Alexa

The keypad is supposed to run for about 7 months on a charge. You don't need to leave it plugged in all the time (unless you want to).
@abc123fhdi3 жыл бұрын
@@Tony.Nguyen137 24 hours on battery. But may be less if you have 100 sensors.

Always ensure you are setting up your devices within 10ft or less from your base station, also do not mount your sensors upside down, it damages the Reed switch, also causing the tamper switch to slide out of place.

Hello. Thanks for the great video. Finally getting rid of ADT. I have a question please . I'm gonna have three different pads in three different floors. I need the pad upstairs not to chirp at all when any sensor is opened or closed. And I need the one in the middle and Basement floors to only chirp when certain sensors are opened and closed. Are these options customizable? Thanks so much.
@staticage62 жыл бұрын
You can program each keypad to turn chirp on or off. As for the sensors, you can program each individual sensor to chirp at the base/keypad, base only, or no chirp. Chirp on keypad and sensors are ON by default. Hope this helps.

@almmason72 жыл бұрын
It says it will pick up over 50 pounds, so it ignores pets less than 50 pounds so the alarm is not going off. So, you should be fine. My ceilings are also 10-12 feet.

The extender is for the Zwave, not a wifi extender as the sensors don't use wifi, so you should use it for better signal strength of the sensors since they include it in the box and all you have to do is plug it in a wall outlet. Monitoring use to be $10 but now $20
@rayzor2853 жыл бұрын
This ☝️ also, your residence doesn't seem all that big. The range extender is intended for homes larger than 1500 sq. Ft. The range extender would just be a redundancy and a waste of an outlet.
@hullie75293 жыл бұрын
@@rayzor285 It baffles me how they include a range extender in all of their packs when most people won't have a use for them. It'd be much more useful to include an extra contact sensor instead.
