It’s very cool that you can use a lead, should you need to connect it to the 12v socket. How long does the battery last? :) I know many factors like pressure, and temp can effect this. Cheers 😊
@CarSpyTV11 ай бұрын
The 12V DC connector is one of the reasons I bought this pump. The battery's a 7.4V 5,000mAh. I didn’t run any tests to see how long it lasts. We’ll find out over time. Hope you’re well.

A good video and review as always. But if your able to use one a manual foot pump saves having a battery and using electric to charge it or the need for electric power from the car or other source. and is just about as portable.. Plus some may use small pumps like this beyond their capability, unless it has a thermal cut-out to stop it overheating so it might also take out some car fuses if plugged in..

Glad you enjoyed the video, Nta16. I'll let you know if there are any long term issues with this pump. So far so good!

Nonsense. I have used tyre inflators like this for 30 odd years with no issues.
@nta.165 ай бұрын
@@raftonpounder6696, you like CSPTV obviously buy and use good quality ones and use them correctly, some others don't and don't. It may be that some have medical reasons to use them or just prefer to use them, I'm fortunate that, so far, I'm still able to use my choice of a manual footpump instead.
@raftonpounder66965 ай бұрын
@@nta.16 they will never blow your vehicle’s fuse because the fuse in the actual inflator is 10amp and your 12v socket is 25amp.
@nta.165 ай бұрын
@@raftonpounder6696 I probably deal with a wider and different range of cars than you are thinking of. Not all cars have 12v aux or cigarette/cigar lighters and then there owners' own wiring and inflators of dubious build quality. But I take your point of a modern car with a reasonable quality inflater. For the last 30+ years most of the cars I had were without a 12v socket of any sort. Yes I could have wired one in, or converted to clips on the battery but the manual footpump was fine by me - and not wishing to frighten some most of the cars I removed the spare wheel, be it true space saver or full sized as I needed the boot space for luggage (wife's) and I travelled many, many thousands of miles like this all across the UK, (correction) and parts of Europe. I bet there's at least one if not two regular posters here that have vehicles without 12v sockets too. But as always each to there own and I agree with you that a modern vehicle and reasonable inflator wouldn't (usually) blow a 25 amp car fuse.

I got one today and it does not switch on. When I connect the charger, it shows full green bar but justwon't switch on. Does it have to be connected top the tyre before you can switch it on which would be daft?

Hello. The pump can be turned on without being connected to a tyre. Good luck getting it sorted.

How many tyres will it pump on battery?
@CarSpyTVАй бұрын
Depends on the size of the tyre, its current pressure, the recommended pressure, and ambient temperature. In summary though, decent battery life.

Interesting video. I have been looking at similar devices, and many seem to be aimed at topping up a tire, but not inflating it from nearly flat. Do you think this would cope with a nearly flat tire?

Mine When The battery run’s out, full discharged, it doesn’t work with The 12v cable. The power is not sufficient to run it well, it goes off quickly. I only have this problem ?

Next time the pump's battery is flat, I suggest you try to power it from the 12V socket in a different car. If it works, you know the problem is your car rather than the pump. Good luck.

@@CarSpyTV maybe my pump has some problem. I tried with 3 different 12v, on my bike, my car, and on a jump starter. It quit fast. Also it doesn’t charge. I have to charge a lil bit with usb c , than it charge with The 12v. But it is not enough to work well only with 12v and battery flat.
