Ring-Tailed Lemur Gangs Rule This Ancient Island | Love Nature

Gangs of Ring-tailed Lemur Island in Madagascar's Berenty reserve are facing the mounting challenges of the dry season. One lemur gang leader Crystal is a good mother to son Tommy but as the fierce leader of the Ruins Gang, her reign of fear makes life hard for some of her subjects. The oldest mother under her command, deposed queen Erica, has her work cut out as a low-status female: she has to keep her lemur baby Kit alive and stay out of trouble. Rival gang lemur queen Kati, leader of the ramshackle Museum Gang, has found a good food supply for her crew, but her battle-shy leadership style might put them all in danger.

Unconscionable trash. A horrible program exploiting the struggles of Madagascar's few remaining Ringtailed Lemurs as they fight for the scraps left by the human devastation of their habitat. Lot's of wide eyed, incredulous, hypocritical horror at the cruelty of Lemur troupes ( not gangs) facing imminent extinction due to the very humans thrilling to their loosing battle for survical. How about a program on creating a refuge to preserve these amazing animals instead of cheap entertainment crafted around their death struggles.? Possible the cruelest animal exploitation show on TV. Shame in "Love Nature".
