Ringers Pellet Wafters- Is This A Pointless Bait ???

Interesting product. Surely the benefit is that they are more buoyant than a normal hard pellet, and being same colour as micros the fish will feel less resistance when they suck it in. I can see these being worth trying in winter.

Hi Carl I have used Ringers Allsorts and Chocolate Orange for quite a few years now and find them perfect. I have even caught carp in the edge on a single wafter when my method feeder fell in with no pellets on it.

@@AnglerCarl My "Desert Island" pellets. would be a 900 gram bag of "Pre Drilled" 8mm Robin Reds.

The wafter style is as much about hook hold as anything else. There's a Korda short floating around right now talking about the wafter use. Also keeps your hook fishing more than a pellet will if the fish are competing.

I only ever use Ringers wafters now in 6mm and mini 4.5mm, they seem to sit perfect married up with a qm1 , got em in orange, yellow and the flouro colours, tried sonubaits but they don't waft upright on a spike like the ringers do, not tried the pellet colour but I'm sure they will work.

Caught loads in the winter on these, sometimes a bright bait even washedout in clear water scares em.
