Ringing out 2022, welcome in 2023 at Sidcup

A short extract of a peal of 7 minor methods rung at Sidcup on 31st December 2022, completed in 2hrs 42mins. This concludes the performance ringing for this year with hopefully several more to follow in 2023.
It was rather a surprise being asked to ring the tenor having not anticipated it, but also an achievement being the first peal I’ve turned a tenor into; very grateful to the rest of the band for the quality of ringing achieved. The rest of the congregation seemed to thoroughly enjoy listening from their gardens / indoors with windows open / out for walks and were congratulated afterwards - via the online way mostly! A couple of our locals too were very impressed and offered warming teas and cakes, which were very well received!
