#ringostarr #thebeatles #drumcover One of my favorite Beatles tunes and Ringo performances. Had to keep the track quiet so the video doesn’t get blocked. Enjoy!

Ringo always says Rain is his best drum performance but I'd say this one is tied, if not a close second.

Agreed! Rain is fantastic but I’m partial to this one if I had to pick between the two.

I have long believed that too. I sometimes wonder if he’s got the wrong song!

I love how Ringo uses the chorus to build up tension for the verse. It’s such an ingenious inversion of classical songwriting techniques.

Due to the talents of John and Paul, and to a lesser extent George, its easy to overlook how talented Ringo was. This, Rain, A Day in the Life and many others, some truly remarkable drumming. And great time-keeping throughout his time with The Beatles.

YOU ... are the most accurate cover drummer of Ringo playing 'She Said, She Said' I have ever watched and listened to. All the other youtube cover drummers re-doing this song are amateurs. Congrats!

Thank you! I appreciate that very much! I’ve seen a few good ones. Ringo is one of the toughest drummers to emulate. At least for me!

Did Ringo invent this way of starting a fill with the rolling snare swells? I have never heard anything like this before or after. Also please more Earl Palmer covers!! Jim Sullivan's U.F.O. has a great drum track IMO
@vintagedrummer79 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! My interpretation is that he was using a rudiment called a ruff and that’s something that drummers had been using in all styles of music at that point. He definitely utilized it in a cool and creative way here.

@Fokan442 жыл бұрын
@@davebijoux I get your point. I'm not saying it should be a perfect mix, having the drum a little louder is indeed a good thing in a drum cover. But I still think it's intresting to hear how the drum part relates to the rest of the song, wich isn't always easy in this version in my opinion.
