The problem with Maximum Male Model was that most of their air time was to make Vince laugh. If you had saw their backstage segments or things outside of WWE TV, you could see that the boys and even Maxine when she was paired up with them had comedy gold written over them.

Not really sure what his plan is either, career-wise. He’s only wrestled like a dozen times this year, which is typical of AEW because Tony refuses to do house shows to get his guys the live crowd experience that they need to grow. He’d honestly be better off getting into NXT than being Maria’s comedy prop in zombie ROH. Dude’s still in his 20s, so he has a little time, but if Griff has any long term ambitions, he should totally peruse them sooner rather than later. You can only be a “baby boy” for so long.

I don't like him either but if WWE is allowed to grab athletes who were never wrestlers will probably never be wrestlers, just for the one or two that break through, AEW can too at least he started as a wrestler to begin with. Sometimes you whiff on young talent but you have to try, Tony just likes to ride out contracts. You can tell he probably isn't going to work out, but every company has wrestlers like these in the forever Tom Zenk category.
