I had a lot of fun with this DLC,decided to have a little fun while editing this video together. Players and Disgaea/NIS characters coming together,never thought I would see something like this. NIS! Why dont you do these awesome things more often?!
Overall,this DLC is definately worth it,it's my most favorite DLC out of the rest. Thanks everyone who commented on the previous videos!

Yusef Tribbett A random Demon named Krichevskoy found this Netherworld which is unruled and decided to rule as Overlord and has to go through the struggles as king like rebels and usurpers... not to mention about finding a queen and having an heir, dood.

I'm a bit disappointed. Laharl's entire game was about him becoming more mature and would one day surpass Krichevskoy, and even Flonne developing. However, they just cannot seem to help but reset their development afterwards and it just disappoints me. It's like the developers think that Laharl remaining as the immature brat is what's best. Sigh...

Axis I don’t think DLC character interactions are canon. It tends to make the timeline nonsensical (particularly in Disgaea 5, which is supposed to take place before all the previous games).

The thing is, if they chose to follow the continuum for disgaea: HoD then Larharl would be a prinny (Hence the later retcon with Disgaea D2)

Vengeful ѕparda I’m fairly certain that Disgaea 5 takes place before all the other games, seeing as how Christo is Seraph Lamington, and this game shows how he came to have such unconventional views about demons prior to the first game.

Thank you for elaborating,now I have a better understanding of what you are asking. To be honest,levels don't really matter for the Netherbattle tournament because all players that join in,are divided into four groups. From the lowest levels to the highest and max stats. You can choose these higher leveled players to help you beat all the stages of this DLC. There is no level requirement for this DLC.

Yea, it would really be interesting if Laharl found outt that his father is still alive. And even more interesting is what would happen if Etna found out. She has/had pretty strong feelings for him as her diary stated, and so far we've only seen her hating everyone, just like a demon does. And I'd also really like to see her getting more spotlight and character development.

I've answered this question in the comments below,but since that was a while back.. This DLC allows you to let fellow Disgaea players join you in these battle stages. Each player can upload whatever character they choose,and they will be divided into four classes based on level and stats: Generic Demon Level,Advanced Demon Level,Aristocrat Level,and Overlord Level. There are no restrictions,you can have an army of Laharls or Valzys if you want to.

I fail to see how this dlc is non-canon...when it basically explains what happened to King K after all this time. It's a relief for the fans because he was just disgarded for a long time,he could have been just a forgotten character but this DLC proves he is a very important character.

He had to reinarnate with the help of the seraph. Thats pretty much dead to me. Talking about Seraph lamington has anyone realized how OP he is? Altough King Krichevskoy Never gained his full power back as Midboss it still was the soul of one of the most powerfull know overlords. And Seraph Lamington has been able to Hold his soul in the Living for at least a year. And unlike Mayorita out of Disgaea 5 he had no skill to do that. So he basicly perfomed the same ritual as Void dark without the Skill to Maintain Life on its own. So he had to permantly give up energy to keep Krichevskoy reincarnated as midboss. Wich is an acctuall dialogue in Disgaea where he talks to midboss reminding him that he doesnt have infite power. So when you fight him with laharl he basicly is allready all out of energy and can only fight you with like 1% of his power. And you though he was crazy strong before.

No one was talking about gig. Not to meantion that there is no real most powerfull character in The Nippon Echi universe. Its more about showing personality than showing power when they interact with each other. Unless you want to believe That Mao is the strongest character out of all.

Krichevskoy actually managed to defeat Baal but he was wounded severely but he also realised Baal could revive himself so he asked Lamington to give him more time to help him train Laharl to defeat Baal upon his return, as well as try and teach Laharl the more refined aspects of being an overlord.

Good video even if I wanted Mid-boss be in this game And some fun facts: 5:40 mid-boss when defeated has always stomachache The King when is emotive has showed that he can destroy mountains and shake the world (just for the birth of Laharl) I don’t know if he knows to have Sicily as daughter

Well, a couple months spent as a flamboyant mid boss character secretly engineering various parts of the Seraph's plan to unite the Netherworld and Celestia into motion and a few level grinds and reincarnations later... (And dude, I wouldn't worry too much about what's canon. Trust me, consistency has very little place with recurring characters in this series. And God bless it for that fact!)

This is a guess,as stated by others in the comments,some were disappointed that Laharl never stepped in to see his father back,it's possible NIS did that on purpose as to hold out for the next game. It would be nice if they did like a reuniting of all the past NIS characters,even better if you involved players again. It was nice that this DLC stepped out for a moment of being single player only.

He was super-powerful because he sealed Baal back when Baal was a true "Tyrant". Look at how powerful Tyrant Val was, man. Baal was about 3x that strong and is still so damn powerful he can't truly die. He's immortal and always returns by taking over other bodies. Like the whole Zetta incident. His dad was indeed strong, considering his son is only a half-demon and still unbelievably powerful.

I wouldn't be surprised,the main story in the Disgaea games were never really That long. It's just the hours of grinding that always takes the longest. Usually the requirement to beat the last boss is like lvl 100+. For post game,thats a different story. Could have just found a decent stage for grinding and spent a few hours on it.

Realistically, from what we've seen (ignoring the last round), I would bet on Gig. Zetta would beat him, but Petta is a critical weakness- if somebody takes her hostage he's screwed. Pram isn't trying. Yes Power of Friendship/Power of Love as Flonne goes on about, but the Disagea 4 crew split up and in many cases said powers have been overrated.

Baal is the most powerful of all the Tyrants/Overlords. This is attested by the fact that he cannot die, no matter how many times he is killed. Zenon is incredibly strong as well, outclassing Laharl by about 300 levels-BUT this was not full power Laharl. Laharl was willing to sacrifice himself by doing what his mom did for him for Flonne and released his full strength to do so. He can only utilize his full demon blood if he gives into his anger, which he'll never do so long as Flonne's around.

Okay, if Valvatorez plans to try and get Laharl and Gig to act in character, then I think that Flonne will probably end up spending that money on his medical bills, though knowing her she'll probably blow it all on building the Macross.

I never implied recruiting other player's character is impressive. My point I was making is,"I really dont care or impressed about a video of someone showing off their team of Max stats." When really,I have my own team with decent stats,and seeing max stats in the Netherbattle tournament is pretty much common anyways. I dont showcase my team,because again,I just dont care about being "Better" than others.

Let me put it this way, actually: This is a series where the only reason the previous protagonist's can't kick their precedent's asses is because they weren't there for their separate games. In Disgaea Afternoon of Darkness, with some good level grinding, you can take out Overlord Zetta with a fucking PRINNY.

I'm always iffy with recording story cutscenes,because I feel bad of spoiling it. Someone else is gonna spoil the ending on youtube anyways. I choose to watch or not. Why I upload DLC cutscenes because they're just cameo appearances really. I don't do walkthroughs mainly with RPGs,because to be honest...I've watched other channels who have done RPG walkthroughs and I get bored watching easily.

How the hell did this happen? The Hades Party are pretty weak compared to the big league contenders- not to mention they SPLIT UP. The contenders that should be worth noting but somehow lost: -Zetta (o.k Petta's a plausible loss point, but...) -Gig -Pram (if she were in it to win it, which she probably isn't) -Item God If the D4 crew stayed together maybe they could take on one of these- but they spilt up so that's out. Not losing a single member to that mistake was ludicrously lucky.

The hint is pretty obvious in the cutscenes for this video. He mentions he "died" once,because of what you mentioned. But the fact that he didnt let himself give up so easily,he wanted to make a comeback...but had to wait for the time to be right. Don't know why you even considered the anime canon,the ending for the anime was the Normal ending. And seeing how Disgaea 2 continues from Dis1's Good ending,therefore,the anime is wrong.

You know this DLC is quite interesting considering the next Disgaea game (which is officially confirmed to be released).I mean, instead of making it having a completely new setting with new characters, like it's usually done, we probably get a Disgaea game that focuses on Krichevskoys goal, like the first one Just imagine: A new Disgaea game with Laharl as main character and the most important characters from the previous games in the main cast that takes place in more than just one netherworld
